About the role:
In this role 12-month fixed term contract role, you will provide back-office operations support to the Treasury Department in processing Treasury transactions, FX and Derivatives, ensuring deals are completed correctly and in a timely manner.

What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure timely and accurate payment/settlement of Treasury products, observing the established cut-off time for the relevant currencies and locations- Input of FX and Derivatives trades in relevant internal and external systems- Sort and distribute maturing corporate deals to dealers and Payment Services team for instructions- Prepare the FX confirmation(s) and Option confirmation(s) and monthly MTM report- Prepare the SWAP confirmation(s) and rate fixing notice and monthly MTM report- Monitor/match up the FX and Derivatives confirmations and follow-up any outstanding confirmations or items- Prepare SWIFT message and monitor SWIFT message incoming in TRAM- Ensure the efficient settlement in Austraclear, RITS and NZClear transactions- Reconciliation of client funds received to settle all settlements and investigating unallocated and/or non-received funds- Assist with EOD balancing and Total Proof balancing process

What we are looking for:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1+ years’ experience in Operations, and experience in a similar role is highly advantageous. You’ll ideally have sound knowledge of the banking regulatory environment and regulations, together with a good understanding in operations, including but not limited to Funds, Derivatives, Money Market, Securities and Foreign Exchange.

Good communication and presentation skills are needed to support line of reasoning.

You’ll likely have a Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification from a leading university, and strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
