**About the role**
- Play a pivotal role as the second line of defence, reporting to and engaging with senior stakeholders on business-critical risk and compliance, controls matter, and metrics.
- Maintain independent risk oversight for Allianz Technology Australia's branch, including the organization of risk management, control, and outsourcing-related procedures.
- Manage the implementation, reporting, and regular performance of the Non-Financial Risk Management Framework.
- Manage risk assessments (including outsourcing risk assessments), working hand in hand with the business in control implementation, documentation, and performance, as well as the development of mitigation plans and their follow-up together with the Australian Risk team.

**About you**
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, mitigating, and implementing controls to manage risk, with a focus on Tech-related education or experience.
- Strong knowledge of Line 1 and Line 2 risk management principles, especially in assessing, mitigating, and controlling key risks.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks, particularly for foreign-owned or multinational organizations.
- Experience in legal compliance related to risk management, legal frameworks, and regulatory compliance, preferably in financial services (FS) or banking.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly in presenting complex risk management topics to senior management.
