The Role You will have 3+ years of consulting experience in project management, investigation and remediation of contaminated land and groundwater.
You will have a strong consulting background, working across both office and field-based locations.
Based in North Sydney this role will report into the Area Manager.
As the Environmental Scientist/Engineer you will successfully manage all aspects of the project including safety and quality compliance, financial management, technical reporting and building and maintaining successful relationships with all stakeholders.
You will also have a passion knowledge sharing, providing coaching and mentoring opportunities to the junior team members.
To succeed in this role you will; Experience in managing small to medium contaminated-site projects.
Have an understanding of national and state environmental legislation / guidance.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
Demonstrated local consulting experience, with recent experience specifically in NSW region.
Working towards becoming a Certified Environmental Practitioner.
Ability to assist and author reports in accordance with regulatory guidance.
Support senior staff in delivering technical complex contaminated land management projects.
The ability to work autonomously and communicate across all levels of the business Strong project management skills including experience in coordinating environmental contaminated land investigations and managing subcontractors.
