The Opportunity:
The Health Product Manager working with the CVP Manager Health Propositions is responsible for leading and developing the health insurance components for Bupa’s Health Care propositions for customer growth under the Savannah strategy.

This role has accountability for development and management of the Connected Care Customer Value Proposition for the Consumer, Corporate and International portfolio and will work with the broader product and portfolio management and Health Propositions teams to identify commercial and customer opportunities to expand, articulate and deliver our product CVP to meet business objectives.

This position supports the ownership of membership and gross margin and acts as the customer champion for Bupa customers accessing new health care propositions and services through their HI product and Bupa membership.

What You’ll Be Doing

Here's what you can look forward to in this role:

- Lead the development, management, and performance of the health insurance customer value proposition for health care propositions market including compelling and sustainable product and service offerings and end-to-end customer experience.
- Conduct competitive assessments and successfully recommend changes to product hierarchies and relationships.
- Review and support the design of new types of insurance products which may require different types of commercial models and constructs.
- Support the development of funding models including health pilot protocols and working with the Department of Health.
- Work with other health insurance operational teams to deliver seamless and great customer service.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or related disciplines are preferred.
- Proven ability in relationship management
- Evidence of demonstrable leadership skills and competencies.
- Product development functional experience including demonstrable: Leadership of product development & management strategies and expertise in Australian healthcare legislative and regulatory environment.
- An analytical focus with an appreciation of data analysis, commercial drivers, business viability and technical feasibility.
- A mix of Agile, Lean and HCD approaches and are familiar with a range of digital tools and frameworks to support your vision, roadmaps, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience working in healthcare and across healthcare technologies advantageous
- Experience working across multiple streams in a fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
- An analytical focus with an appreciation of data analysis, commercial drivers, business viability and technical feasibility.
