**About Us**:
QE Foodstores is a group of independent Australian family-owned grocery stores located across 11 Sydney locations in the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and North Sydney.
**About the role**:
We are currently looking to fill full-time 45 hour / 5 day per week Produce Manager/Assistant Store Manager roles in various locations. The Produce Manager will report directly into the Store Manager and is responsible for assisting with operating the store. Accountability for managing the fresh fruit and vegetables and flower display, as well as managing the store on the days which the Store Manager is not at work.
The Produce Manager will possess a safety-first approach and will have exceptional customer service skills and people management skills.
- Supporting the Store Manager in driving store sales and achieving targets
- Contributing to all aspects of store operations; serving customers, stacking shelves
- Assist with managing and leading a highly competent team
- Manage the store on the days in which the Store Manager is not present
- Comply with Workplace Health and Safety policies
- Live the Company Values and instil them in the team
- Work alongside friendly and supportive colleagues
**We are looking for someone who has**:
- Experience working in a similar capacity
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to follow direction and be left to work unsupervised
- Reliable and friendly to customers and staff
- A high level attention to detail
- Possesses excellent knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety guidelines
- Possesses a passion and enthusiasm, with a love for what you do and a willingness to go the extra mile
