**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate amendments to Environmental Authorities.
- Maintain the environmental risk register and compliance system in conjunction with the Environment Business Partners.
- Formulate action plans to address environmental risks and issues raised from audit findings and report progress.
- Maintain and enhance corporate environmental knowledge through environmental documentation management and data management systems.
- Coordinate cultural heritage activities with sites and Traditional Owners
- Complete internal and external environmental governance and performance reporting.
- Represent the company through meetings with professional organizations.
- Support and seek opportunities for continual improvement of company-certified Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
- Provide technical advice and support to sites to address key environmental matters.
- Maintain a sound knowledge of recent innovations and best practices in environmental management, relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice and disseminate updates to a broad range of stakeholders.

**ABOUT YOU**
To be considered for this role you will have the following:

- Degree-level qualifications in a relevant field of science, environmental science, or environmental engineering.
- Drivers license
- Relevant experience in managing environmental issues in the electricity generation or mining sectors or similar industrial experience (desirable)
- Proven hands-on environmental management skills.
- Experience in working with a range of environmental functional specialists.
- Demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional professionals and in multi-disciplinary teams.
