**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Report to the Head of Retail and communicate feedback to directors
- Leading and supporting the oversight and leadership of the floor
- Weekly communication with management to execute store events that support the company mission & drive traffic
- Ensure daily store operations run smoothly, including financial management and store reporting.
- Demonstrate leadership with energy, positivity, and outstanding communication skills.
- Drive store KPIs, sales targets, stock management, customer database growth, and key metrics.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards for our customers.
- Analyse product reports to maximise and identify opportunities.
- Aid in the receiving and organising of new stock deliveries.
- Oversee daily operations and employee management.
- Ensure staff adherence to company practices and procedures.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate staff, creating a safe and encouraging workplace.
- Execute fortnightly rostering while meeting wage targets.
- Coordinate stock movements, replenishments, and consolidations.
- Manage store stock takes and stock loss investigations.
- Implement weekly/fortnightly visual merchandising changes with directors.
- Maintain high personal and store presentation standards.
- Hold monthly staff meetings to update the team on company information, product knowledge, and seasonal drops
- Develop store strategies to exceed targets and budgets

**KEY SKILLS**:

- You have 2-3 years of retail experience
- A people-person
- You have managed a team before
- A good understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- You have a passion for service and delivering an exceptional experience for customers
- Proven financial acumen to include budgeting and forecasting sales
- You have proven ability to set a clear vision, align your team around common goals and foster commitment to these objectives
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You seek the best (not necessarily the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- Passion for leading
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management and problem-solving ability
- Understandings of software: Square, Shopify, Google Sheets, Deputy.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg
- Flexibility to work evenings (10pm), weekends, and public holidays on a rostered basis.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
