Artisan Ornaments is looking for determined and eager staff to join our exciting team and fill approximately 5 positions beginning on the 27th of October at Westfield Helensvale and Robina TC shopping centres

The work revolves around painting names onto glass baubles with glue and glitter, as well as general retail duties (operating till, stocking, customer service etc).

Wages are paid as casual hourly rate (for 21 and over);

$33.19 Weekdays

$39.83 Saturdays

$46.46 Sundays 

+ Overtime, Evening Rates & Superannuation

Rates for under 21 can be found under Casual Retail Award level 1 on the Fairwork website.

We prefer staff to work as much as possibleto develop skills for the busy December season. You must have availability of minimum 5 days a week and able to work at minimum 4 of those. Candidates would ideally be able to work 5-6 days a week.

Artistic skills – especially with a paintbrush – help, but are not 100% necessary. We are looking for creative, hard working employees who are keen to learn. Some of our best writers had never touched a brush before and were just eager learners.

We have shops at Westfield Helensvale and Robina Town Centre

Aside from your resume, in your application you must provide the following:

  1. Any artistic skills that you have, especially anything with lettering, painting, calligraphy or typography.

  2. What centres you're able to work at/travel to(Higher availability means greater opportunity for work)
