**About the Role**:
We have a unique opportunity for an experienced influential leader to join the Network Services team to take on the role as Field Leader - Faults based at our Burnley depot.

Reporting to the Field Delivery Manager, the successful incumbent will manage the faults response services (response, repair and restoration works) allocated to the workgroup.

You will play a pivotal role in managing and leading a team of employees, contractors and service providers with overhead technical skillsets to meet network services and client requirements as measured by health, safety, environmental, schedule, quality and cost metrics

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and direction to the team and resource partners on all resourcing and fault activities.
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of faults resources efficiently and effectively.
- Lead the implementation of improvement programs to drive continuous improvement and best practice across the workgroup.
- Provide operational leadership for the site and manage related customer and stakeholder communications (enquiries, issues, complaints, etc.).
- Work closely with stakeholders on delivery of fault works, scope definition, materials management, identification and actioning of improvements and technical issues.
- In conjunction with other managers, develop the capabilities of the team in terms on knowledge, skills and behaviours to meet current and future workload requirements.
- Be a strong role model and champion of Health, Safety & Environment values.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Management or leadership related qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience in field leadership roles.
- Qualification/ Certification in an electrical distribution trade.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a team leader or workgroup leader.
- Previous experience in construction, maintenance and technically related activities related to the electrical network.
- Experience in leading a key service delivery function in the Australian energy industry.
- Experience in managing and leading work groups through periods of change.
