**The Facility**
Our client is a 131-bed hospital with over 350 qualified medical practitioners in what is the regional public hospital in WA. Visitors and locals now have access to upgraded, modern treatment facilities with all clinical works in what has been a $59.6 million redevelopment of the main campus which officially opened in 2015. The completion of clinical works seamlessly ties into earlier phases of the redevelopment which included apalliative care unit, new emergency department, high dependency unit and medical imaging department.

**The Position**
An exciting opportunity is available for a **Consultant Anaesthetist** for the Anaesthetics Department. This hospital is the main referral hospital for the region and provides patient care to exciting and varied medical challenges.** **The role is responsible for providing leadership, management, training, supervision and education for Senior Medical Practitioners, Intern, Resident Medical Officers and Registrars in collaboration with the Regional Director of Medical Service.

**About You**
- Have demonstrated experience in Specialist Anaesthetics at a senior level and contemporary knowledge of professional issues and trends in Anaesthetics.
- You must have highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a commitment to clinical governance within healthcare. Significant experience in rural and remote Anaesthetic provision and sound understanding of remote area health service provision is desirable.

**Requirements**:
Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists or equivalent specialist qualifications (FANZCA).
