We are seeking enthusiastic additions to join our Maternity Education team.

The **Afterhours Clinical Midwifery Educator (CME) role** at The Wollongong Hospital has an important place within the leadership team. In 2025, we would like to provide two six-month supported secondments for two members of our ISLHD Midwifery team to be supported to work within the After Hours CME role.

This opportunity will provide ISLHD Midwives to obtain skills, experience and confidence in:

- Coordinating, developing, delivering and evaluating Clinical Midwifery education programs at a ward/unit/level standard
- Ensuring novice, experienced and casual midwifery and nursing staff receive comprehensive orientation and ongoing educational support
- Collaborating with the Midwifery Leadership team and the wider hospital team to deliver tailored educational initiatives
- Support Clinical Preceptors working with students and novice staff
- Providing ‘hands-on’ clinical supervision, prioritising quality and safety in patient care.
