Clinical Midwife Educator

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned midwife to fill a temporary parental leave relief position as a Clinical Midwife Educator. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future of midwifery in one of the busiest maternity services.

  • Deliver engaging education, training, and clinical skills assessments to support staff across various units.
  • Mentor students, early-career midwives, and new team members to build clinical confidence and promote high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with the education and maternity leadership team to ensure the highest standard of woman-centred care is delivered to our community.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong education and training delivery skills.
  • Ability to mentor and coach midwives at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
