Dental Health Services Victoria is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria. The Victorian Government funds Dental Health Services Victoria to provide clinical dental services. Our aim is to improve the oral health of all Victorians, particularly vulnerable groups and those most in need. We provide Victorians with quality oral health care through the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and work collaboratively with our partners to deliver oral health programs to benefit all Victorians.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief People & Culture Officer is responsible for human resources management across Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) including the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne (RDHM) and encompassing HR Business Partnering and Performance, OHS and Wellbeing, Organizational Development, Learning and, Talent Acquisition. In conjunction with state government, the role will lead the delivery of a state-wide Workforce Strategy project to build the capability of the Oral Health sector across Victoria.
Providing strategic advice to the board and partnering collaboratively with the executive group, this role will develop a new people engagement strategy to support the achievement of the DHSV’s Strategic Direction while leading a diverse team of HR specialists; creating a high performing workplace culture and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees of DHSV.
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Human Resources executive, with experience leading multi-disciplinary HR teams across complex operating environments, ideally in health or an aligned industry. You have demonstrated experience developing and delivering whole of organisation HR change strategies and related programs of work, to support the achievement of significant growth and transformation or the agency. You have a proven ability to provide sound strategic advice to CEO and Board on organizational wide HR strategies and related people matters, including complex IR/ER issues.
We are seeking a contemporary leader, who will bring an innovative and agile approach and effectively communicate objectives and collaborate across the organisation. Experience working with government would be considered desirable and formal qualifications in human resources, change management or aligned fields are essential.
