ROLE PROFILE:
To support the successful delivery of ERM projects and objectives by:

- Delivering (from start-up to close-out) a range of planning projects, with support from more experienced team members;
- Desktop and field-based investigations into planning and environmental constraints on projects;
- Assistance in the preparation of environmental management plans (EMPs);
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders, including State and Local Governments and the community; and
- Working with the other members of the team to support client management and engagement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or similar
- A minimum of 1+ year relevant statutory town planning/environmental planning experience in private consulting and/ or government in NSW.
- Up to date knowledge of the NSW planning and approvals system.
- A strong desire to further experiences in the renewable energy sector.
- Understanding in any one or more of the Transport, Property, and Renewable Energy sectors and the companies operating in these sectors and their relevant regulatory environments would be advantageous.
- Exceptional teamwork and relationship building skills.
- Previous consulting experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- High appreciation and understanding of Health & Safety standards
- Proven report writing skills
