**The opportunity**
Our Environment, Climate, and Sustainability team is recruiting Principal Environmental Planners to join our growing teams in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. With a growing pipeline of work in the transport, water, energy, and defence spaces, we are seeking a highly motivated individual that wants to be part of a growing team Role-specific duties:
- and small-scale infrastructure, energy, and precincts projects.
- Provide planning and regulatory advice to clients
- Oversee and undertake the preparation of environmental and planning approvals and planning assessments, feasibility studies, permitting and licensing documentation and support the development of technical assessments, management plans, and other documents to a high standard.
- Help drive the growth of strategic planning and precinct planning.
- Manage and/or liaise with environment consultants and other planning consultants, to ensure the successful delivery of a project
- Support the development of proposals and bid submissions.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Town/Urban Planning, Environmental planning or related field is essential.
- Extensive experience in statutory and strategic planning, environmental and planning approvals, and planning permits.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant state planning and approvals process and legislation, relevant to infrastructure projects.
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Be enthusiastic about being part of a growing team and providing excellent outcomes for clients
