- Our client is a global, US headquartered, market leading innovator of medical technologies, servicing the healthcare industry.
- They have been established for many years, have hundreds of employees globally with 25 people in Australia and have a very supportive and collaborative culture.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND GROW
- In this Customer Support Specialist position, you will be expected to work independently and together with the field sales team. The role is largely office based and you will be expected to support customers and the field sales team in Australia.
- The role will support the sales team with day to day sales administration such as issuing sales quotations, screening orders etc.
- You will drive tender administration work for Australia, together with the sales team.
- You will perform outbound phone calls for the purpose of qualifying and developing prospects, leads and managing accounts and completing sales in territories and with facilities, eg. hospitals, not covered by the field sales team.
- You will maintain a prospect/customer database of all inquiries, assignments and sales made by the inside sales team and maintain a prospect database of all inquiries, assignments and leads developed and then given to the field sales team.
- You will stay abreast of the latest lead processing, market development and telemarketing techniques to assure best practices and results.
- You will maintain product knowledge including ability to describe products by phone or correspondence, position products vs. competitive products and handle basic questions from end-users.
- You will support office administration tasks.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
- Experience in a similar role, preferably with a tertiary qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years direct or indirect sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to document a track record of lead generation success.
- Accurate data entry and record keeping skills.
- Must be an energetic, enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys challenge and is dedicated to getting the job done with mínimal support and direction.
- Must be PC literate, have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
