Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a Medical Secretary to join our friendly and professional team. This role will involve performing all aspects of reception duties working for a team of surgeons. The person for this role will be passionate about providing excellent patient care, have excellent organisation and communication skills and be a team player. It is a challenging role and requires a person who is committed, enthusiastic, pro-active, flexible, and possesses great communication skills, ensuring customer service is to the highest standard.
**Duties would include but not be restricted to:**
- Reception duties including meet and greet patients, answering telephone calls and enquires
- Scheduling and managing appointments and surgeries
- Managing patient payments, invoicing, and preparing patient IFCs
- Supporting a team of specialist surgeons in all aspects
- Liaising with health professionals, hospitals, other medical facilities and health funds
- Ad hoc administration duties including filing and scanning
- Flexible to work across our Kogarah and Miranda locations as needed
**To be suitable for this position you must have**:
- PA/Receptionist experience
- Strong team player able to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of people
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Immaculate presentation and manner
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English essential
- Good computer skills and data entry with great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure
- Be proactive, self-motivated and work unsupervised
- Excellent people skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
