This Engagement Support Teacher role involves (but is not limited to) the following:
*
- Harvesting, presenting and facilitating whole school and or cohort data sets;
- Using these data sets to inform next steps resources, lesson plans etc.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate Universal and tiered intervention programs i.e. Social skills lessons, Rock and Water, Zones of Regulation, Morning Movers, Structured Play, Loose Parts Play
- Support teachers with the function of behaviour (use of FBAs)
- Proactive support of students in the classroom and playground settings at all times
- Writing of support plans, risks assessments, etc. aligned to DOE processes and requirements
- Personalised Learning Records
- Student Support Services Team involvement
- Making connections with families (Supporting Assistant Principals in decision making)
- Making connections with Precinct P HOD Engagement and facilitating re engagement of ' at risk' students
- With direction from the Leadership Team support the facilitation of PC Way Committee (PC 3, reward sessions, Power ups); ongoing review of processes to support engagement of all students
- Provide support/release of staff to facilitate completion of focussed review/support planning with AP's, HOPE etc
