About Us The Recruitment Services branch within People and Culture provides expert advice and support to the Department of Justice and Regulation on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. Working within the department's strategic objective of "building a high performing justice system", Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions. About the Role Reporting to the Team Leader - Youth Justice Recruitment Team, the Recruitment Business Partner ensures that target hires are achieved for the Youth Justice Custodial Services portfolio. This role will oversee the attraction and selection of staff (internal and external), ensuring that target hires are achieved against agreed timelines. This includes: - partnering with youth justice custodial services stakeholders to deliver end to end recruitment solutions - providing professional recruitment consulting services to key stakeholders - managing the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, background checking and offer management, as well as overseeing pre-employment and background checks. Regular travel across the Melbourne metropolitan area and regional Victoria will be required, as will entry into Youth Justice Custodial Facilities. About You - experience in managing a diverse and geographically spread stakeholder group in order to deliver a quality recruitment service - strong project management and presentation skills - a "can do" attitude and the confidence to effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders at senior levels. This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time). **Acceptable evidence includes**: * - COVID-19 digital certificate (available via your myGov account) - Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account) Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
