**ABOUT OUR CLIENT**
We are partnering with a prominent Government department to assist in sourcing an
**A03 Finance Officer** to join their energetic Corporate Card Unit on an initial 3 month contract with a strong possibility of further extension.

Based in the CBD, you'll enjoy being part of a very customer service orientated team. Your role will be busy, so you need to be able to thrive in fast-paced environments.

**KEY DUTIES**
As the Finance Officer, you will be focused on bank reconciliations, corporate card management and accounts payable functions, including:

- **Perform bank reconciliations**
- Extracting and uploading bank statements and ledger entries
- Reconciling bank accounts and the finance system
- Ensure transactions are coded correctly by confirming available budget.
- **Perform corporate card functions**
- Maintenance of corporate card registers
- Provision of training to card holders
- Administering online reconciliation systems
- Uploading reconciled transactions
- Completing journals as required

**ABOUT YOU**
- Government experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills (in-person and phone)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.
