**About the Opportunity**
Our team has been engaged by one of Queensland’s leading Government Departments to assist in sourcing an effective A03 Accounts Payable / Finance Officer to join their team for an ASAP start.
- ASAP start 3 month contract with possible extension
- $42.76 per hour + Super
- Brisbane CBD location
- Work from home available

**As the Finance Officer, you will**:

- prepare purchase orders in SAP,
- process a high volume of invoices,
- assist with preparing monthly accruals,
- reconcile accounts
- prepare financial information for routine reports and perform other finance and administrative duties.
- manage the team mailbox, including actioning or assigning incoming mail as appropriate

**About you**
- Demonstrate experience using SAP
- Demonstrate experience in a similar role
- Be proactive, driven and be able to provide strong references
- Excellent communication skills (in-person and phone)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
