**APA Group**, an ASX top 40 firm to expand their Technology Team to meet the challenges of the future. APA own and/or operates a $21 billion portfolio of gas, electricity, solar and wind assets across Australia. Over the past decade, APA have supported and invested around $750m in renewable energy projects across Australia with more to come, the right people in the Technology Team are key to supporting the energy transformation.

We are seeking a Head of Technology - Corporate and Commercial, this is a direct report to the CIO and plays a key role in the organisation. You will be responsible for managing the systems across Finance, HR, Procurement, Risk, Treasury, the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). These platforms are some of the most important in any large organisation, APA included, and some are currently undergoing major transformation. Your role will be key to this process.

Key Accountabilities
- Building a technology focused plan for business and IT success for the Corporate and Commercial departments of APA.
- Being the technology face for the business areas to prioritise and develop business IT initiatives and product strategies & to deliver to their requirements.
- Provide vision, leadership and governance to the Corporate and Commercial IT Domain team ensuring alignment with the overall Technology strategy and in line with leading industry practice.
- Design, deliver and maintain business unit aligned Domain technology portfolio including roadmaps, an ongoing product release strategy, product planning and requisite prioritisation.
- Accountable for developing and managing the full lifecycle IT system and capability strategies from ideation to concept, business case to budgeting, tender and selection through to implementation and operationalisation for the Domain.
- Accountable for the identification of areas for growth and to create strategic product and UX strategies to help drive adoption of the product and differentiating features within business partner areas.

- You need to have worked in a similar role with a similar sized company, experience in Energy or utilities firms is nice but not essential. Specifically, we are looking for someone with a background in being the systems owner for corporate systems (i.e. Finance, HR, Procurement, Risk, Treasury etc).
- You need to have strong stakeholder management & engagement skills. This is one of the key requirements, this role is the corporate face for these systems to the business, we need someone to build engaging relationships.
- We need someone that has strong experience with cloud-based SaaS platforms, specifically someone that has experience designing & managing SaaS release strategies, experience with Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle Cloud or similar level enterprise level product.
- Has a biased preference for lean approaches with an agile mindset and relevant process leadership experience.
- Experience developing capability to gather enhancement/feature requirements and then validate this through prioritisation (backlog grooming) and then SaaS release with a business resourced testing approach.
- Experience in working with teams using automated testing products
- Experience with data visualisation tools such Power BI in an enterprise environment
- Support the organisation and facilitation of relevant ongoing rituals to support IT Solutions leadership e.g. workshops.
