**How will I help?**

As the Head of Treasury, Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) Technology, you will be responsible for leading the Treasury Technology delivery function and serving as the primary Group Technology point of contact for the Treasury business. You will build strong relationships to partner with business heads to ensure the right technology resources are available at the right time to support Treasury’s strategic and operational priorities. Reporting to the CIO, WIB you will lead the Treasury Technology team consistent with WIB Technology strategy, Group strategy, Group policies and frameworks, relevant delegations, the Group Risk Appetite Statement and applicable laws and regulations.

In the role of Head of Treasury, Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) Technology, you will oversee the definition and implementation of the Technology strategy within Treasury Technology. You’ll be responsible for leading continuous improvement assessments and initiatives to ensure consistent delivery of quality service within Treasury Technology. Acting as the primary point of relationship management between Group Technology and aligned business area(s), you will support Service Management as required during major technology incidents. You’ll develop and manage outsourcing agreements with specialist Treasury Technology vendors and ensure the Treasury Technology team adheres to and supports the implementation of technology frameworks, policies and standards to ensure effective governance, reporting and control within Treasury Technology. You will also oversee the compliance of systems and processes within Treasury Technology, including managing risks, issues, and incidents, ensuring controls are appropriately designed, tested and implemented, and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery measures.

**What do I need?**

You hold at least 7 years domain expertise in a Treasury Technology related field i.e. Markets or Finance, with engineering experience and strong technical understanding. You have exceptional leadership skills, having spent time in team or divisional leadership. This lends itself to outstanding stakeholder and people leadership skills. You have high-impact relationship-building skills with prowess in influencing and negotiations. With demonstrable experience communicating effectively across all levels of the organisation you are a master of creating persuasive messages. Above all, you hold valuable experience successfully implementing Data & Analytics change initiatives in Treasury technology, from inception right through to delivery.
