Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT) is a leading Institute of Higher Education

with campuses in Melbourne and Sydney. We provide IT-Networking, Cyber Security,

Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, Accounting and Engineering

(Telecommunications) programs, at Certificate, Bachelor and Master Degree levels to

Australian and International students.

teamwork we seek to fill the position of Associate Head of School - IT & Engineering; the

qualifications and experience, the appointment will be at Senior Lecturer or Associate

Professor level.

The Associate Head of School - IT & Engineering, reports to the Head of School of IT

& Engineering and liaises with the Sydney Campus Director as necessary.

The Associate Head of School will champion the provision of high quality teaching and

learning, student services and scholarly activities within the Sydney campus of the School

ensuring a stimulating, collegial and well-managed environment that empowers staff to be

creative and effective in their activities.

The Associate Head of School - IT & Engineering is responsible for the effective and

efficient use of allocated school resources for the Sydney campus to maximise the school’s

contribution to the Institute’s strategy.
