**About the business**

Mexex is a driven, innovative and multi award winning sauce manufacturer that specialises in In-Line UHT processing of dairy and plant-based products.

**About the role**

**This full time role is responsible for**:

- Forming innovative and creative maintenance solutions
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on all site production and infrastructure
- Managing breakdowns repairs and troubleshoot equipment
- Assist with machinery installation and all repairs and maintenance within Mexex

**The ideal applicant will**:

- Be highly motivated to perform general construction and fabrication
- Have a creative, solution focused mindset
- Have ability to read and work to plans
- Be able to set up and maintain the workshop
- Have welding capabilities

**Skills and experience**
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry
- Forklift Licence
- Fitter and Turner Trade Certificate
- General computer skills
- Understanding and practitioner of 5S principles an advantage
- Fitter with a restricted electrical licence would be desirable but not essential
