Telecommunications Technician

**About the role**

Shepcomm Pty. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the maintenance and installation of telecommunication infrastructure across the region.

**What you'll be doing**
- Performing 5G upgrades, commisioning and decommisioning for all carriers - TPG, Optus and Telstra
- Performing scheduled and reactive maintenance on telecommunication towers, antennas, and related equipment
- Undertaking the installation of new telecommunication infrastructure as required
- Carrying out safety inspections and identifying potential hazards or risks
- Collaborating with the wider technical team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Maintaining detailed records and reporting on all work completed
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards

**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience as a Telecommunications Technician
- Technical qualifications in telecommunications or a related field
- Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication towers and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong safety consciousness and the ability to work at heights
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to worksites as required
