Our client, a leading and dynamic organisation, are seeking a Finance Business Partner to be the key financial representative across multiple divisions. As a business that is continuing to grow their local presence, they are committed to delivering excellence and maintain high quality equipment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance BP is a critical member of the finance and operations team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who loves a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and gets excited about seeing ideas and projects come to life.

**About the Role**:
As the Finance Business Partner, you will play an essential role in guiding financial decisions and providing strategic insights to key stakeholders across the business. Under the guidance of a supportive leadership team, you will provide high quality divisional reporting and compliance for day-to-day operations and upcoming projects.

In a business where cash flow is key, you will be responsible for the day-to-day budgets and forecasting, and continually seek to improve margins. As a champion for change, you will be driven by ERP improvements, efficiencies and productivity; utilising your strong accounting skillset to support the business in future ERP developments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As the key financial representative across the finance, operations and project teams, you will be responsible for:

- Accurate and timely reporting across all divisions and projects
- Month end preparation and reporting, including trends and analysis for decision-making
- Taking charge of budgets and forecasts, with a strong focus on cash-flow management
- Ensuring compliance obligations are met across the business
- Provide continued support and improve finance processes using the new ERP
- Quality communication and reporting to key stakeholders regarding current financial position, trends and opportunities for growth
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure efficient and accurate information is provided
- Provide support, training and mentorship to other members of the finance team

As a trusted financial advisor across the business, you will be a technically strong management accountant with an appetite for managing cash-flow, budgets and forecasts to provide quality advice to key stakeholders.

Being degree qualified is essential, CA/CPA preferred, and you will have a collaborative mindset.

Prior experience in mining, manufacturing or construction will be a bonus, or any other environment where you have been responsible for cash-flow management.

You must be a strong communicator with all stakeholders, providing commentary to your reporting and putting a story behind the numbers.
