**About the Opportunity**:
Reporting to the General Manager of HR and Corporate Affairs, you will be a key member of the HR & Corporate Affairs Leadership Team. More broadly, you will be part of the WesCEF Senior Leadership Group, which is charged with running the day to day operations of the business while influencing and shaping the strategic direction of the business.

As **Head of People Services**, you will have the opportunity to create and maintain strategic and sustainable HR ways of working. This will assist in developing, motivating and retaining a talented and engaged workforce as well as accelerating the success of organisational strategies and growth objectives. You will achieve this by leading a diverse team of HR professionals - business partners, change management, recruitment, reward, payroll and system specialists.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with the Executive Leadership Team, senior leaders, HR suppliers, professional and industry bodies, as well as our parent company, Wesfarmers Limited.

Our HR team have the privilege of supporting leaders and teams across a diverse portfolio of mature and reliable businesses including CSBP Chemicals, Australian Gold Reagents (AGR), CSBP Fertilisers, Kleenheat and EVOL LNG, with production and distribution facilities in Western Australia’s Kwinana Industrial Area and country regions, as well as the Northern Territory. Our corporate office is located in Murdoch, where the majority of our Shared Services teams are located.

**Through the leadership and coaching of your team you will;**
- Lead and develop the execution of critical WesCEF divisional projects aligned to WesCEF and/or HR strategies.
- Drive WesCEF’s evolving HR service delivery model and ensure it is in line with our HR Digital Transformation Roadmap.
- Drive innovative and modernised HR policies and practices to ensure they are aligned with Group policy and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure knowledge of HR practices and Industrial Relation activities and trends are actioned within HR strategies and processes.
- Embed a continuous improvement mindset and way of working, enhancing HR’s use of data analytics to drive better practices.
- Manage the prioritisation of work and capacity management of the HR team.
- Be involved in the financial corporate planning process and annual budget plans for your team.

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a business related discipline (desirable).
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position.
- Experience working in large complex organisations.
- Strong experience in people leadership, coaching and business acumen.
- Knowledge in strategic level experience in human resources.
- Previous experience in overseeing HR/business transformation or change programs.
- Strong skills in the development, implementation and delivery of HR initiatives.
- Be able to interpret and communicate business measures.
- Strong experience in stakeholder and relationship management skills.
