**BYD**, Eagers Automotive have an exciting opportunity for an experienced operational leader to become the
**BYD WA Service Manager**.

Reporting directly to the BYD WA General Manager and based in dedicated facilities in Wangara, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Pre-Delivery Centre, including the pre-delivery and service workshop, and administration support team.

This is a unique role with significant growth opportunities as the brand continues to expand.

Initially the Pre-Delivery Centre workshop will be focussed on preparing vehicles for delivery and some service work. As BYD continues to grow, this role will also oversee the increased servicing of vehicles, as well as managing a growing team of on-site Service Advisors.

Additionally, the role will oversee and lead the Stock Control and Licensing team, having full accountability for the allocation, preparation and distribution of all vehicles coming into WA.

Duties include:

- Leading the Service/Pre-Delivery team to meet monthly targets.
- Managing the administrative team to ensure smoothly allocation of stock and preparation of deliveries.
- Working closely with dealership Brand Managers to create a seamless customer purchase experience.
- Implement and monitor best practice parts management.
- Ensure a safe work environment exists and is maintained following industry leading practices.
- Ultimately satisfying all customers while maintaining department profitability.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and confident in their communication and leadership skills and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

You will have an interest in, or experience with, automotive stock control, licensing, vehicle preparation and all other aspects of automotive retail operations.

You will ideally possess:

- A track record of high performance in the service and pre-delivery arena
- Capacity to manage and drive teamwork
- Operate with a high level of integrity
- Having a personal commitment to success
- Able to implement and maintain change in a busy environment
