The Role

Working in conjunction with the Communications Manager, the Communications Specialist will work as an integral part of the Marketing & Communication team to help develop and deliver high calibre communication material that strengthens the company's brand presence in the Australian Energy Market and energy industry, as well as with current and potential stakeholders and customers.

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering an integrated communication program encompassing PR, promotion, events and sponsorship. They will be the go-to person in the business to develop written content for all platforms and channels.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver:

- Foundational content development
- Marketing channel content developed & updated (website, social, EDM)
- Content for educational campaigns
- Media releases
- Develop and deliver content plans for all company brands and products
- Help develop and implement clear ‘tone of voice’ guidelines for all company brand communication
- Provide day-to-day comms support for Marketing & Communication team as required
- Provide comms support and guidance for internal teams as required
- Contribute to development of communication strategy
- Contribute to development of tactical implementation plan
- Contribute to development of communication strategy
- Contribute to development of tactical implementation plan
- Manage External suppliers and consultants (eg copywriting, PR & others as applicable)

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years communication experience
- Previous energy industry exposure is nice to have
- Understand & communicate technical concepts
- Integrated campaign management
- Advanced Microsoft Office
- Outstanding written & verbal communication, with an ability to craft targeted messages to specific audiences and platforms
- Outstanding proof reading & editing skills
