As a Social Media Manager, your main duty will be to manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter, adapting content to suit each different channel. - "We are a boutique creative agency, based in Perth, offering results-driven digital advertising solutions for businesses of any size. Instead of adding 'social media' at the end of a long-winded list of digital capabilities, we believe that your social media marketing strategy should be every modern brand's first priority when it comes to connecting with its audience."_ **Role & Responsibilities** - Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Twitter, adapting content to suit each different channel. - Curate and create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms. - Write highly-engaging social copy, uniquely relevant to the platform and true to the Social Meteor brand voice. - Manage and oversee the social media components of all client campaigns. - Collaborate with the content and sales teams to ensure brand consistency and that all client campaigns are delivered on time with extreme attention to detail. - Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Facebook Creator Studio - Oversee the creation and implementation of a weekly social media calendar. - Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Facebook insights. And tweak strategy accordingly. - Manage a budget for social media activities and report on ROI. - Strategise and implement new ways to leverage social media to drive web traffic and community engagement. - Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, monitor community feedback and develop online discussions. - Launch new digital channels. - Continually learn, test, measure & optimise performance on all social media activities. - 3+ years' experience managing social media channels - An extremely strong understanding of all social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook and TikTok - Strong copywriting and editing skills - A strong understanding of social media algorithms - A strong understanding of social media KPIs - Experience in graphic design - Experience managing paid campaigns through Facebook Ad Manager - A solid understanding of the Australian tourism industry - Extreme attention to detail - Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to priortise work across multiple projects, channels and campaigns - Online community management skills - Strong team working and collaboration skills - The ability to take initiative and excel in a fast-paced environment - Superior time and deadline management skills - A high client service ethic - A familiarity with Google Analytics - A familiarity with Adobe Design Suite - A famililarity with video editing software - A familiarity with Wordpress - A familiarity with Asana - A familiarity with Google Drive - A familiarity with Mailchimp - A general understanding of search engine optimisation - A passionate interest and knowledge of all things digital - A love of Western Australia and a desire to help promote it to the world.
