**About the Role**

The role of Sales Product Specialist sits a relatively newly formed team whose role is to contact existing customers and discuss a suite of digital solutions with the aim of converting them on to new subscriptions. Whilst the aim is to ideally cross sell and or upsel, the Product Specialist also plays an important role in capturing insights and feeding back to the Product team on future product direction.

Other responsibilities include:

- Qualify existing leads and aim to convert them to participate in Trial of products or services.
- Capture customer insights and feedback, maintain and update project data capture (excel) with customer interactions and details.
- Clearly communicate the various products & services to clients to ensure they have a full understanding of what it is that we are doing and why we are offering it to them.
- Achieve set targets and KPI’s which could include call volumes, online demonstrations, customer conversions and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to strong relationships with project team to support optimal customer service outcomes.
- Contribute to a team environment that is fun, productive and supportive.

**About You**

Ideally you will have previous experience in Outbound Phone Sales/ Account Management or Customer Success with the ability to sell and/or explain the value proposition of a new product or service. In addition, other preferable skills are:

- Strong objection handling and negotiation skills, with the ability to build report at senior, medium and junior levels
- Proven history using technology as part of your daily workflow and able to switch between systems/tools/products with ease
- Strong communications skills and demonstrated experience in influencing customers
- Experience working towards set KPI’s of call volumes, lead volumes and customer conversions employment industry
