An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and driven Financial officer to join our Head Office team. This is a **full-time permanent** role, based at our **Sydney CBD office**.

Salary $60K - $70K per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation.

You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and support the finance function by performing a range of financial support.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Maintaining Accounts Receivable Ledger.
- Monthly billing and invoicing.
- Assisting our Senior Accountant with payroll functions.
- Processing Bond and Rental receipts and refunds.
- Following up on outstanding accounts.
- Assisting clients with fee queries.
- Distribution of weekly reports such as Occupancy report and cash flow forecast.
- Preparation and Reconciliation of monthly financial reports to the finance department.

**About you**

With a background in Finance or Accounting, you will be passionate about numbers, organised, proactive, and thrive in a detail orientated environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must, as is the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Additionally, you will have:

- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- A minimum of two years’ experience in accounting
- Time management skills, ability to prioritise and plan
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with competing deadlines
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills, polite in approach
- Knowledge of Aged Care Act and Retirement Village Act (desirable)
