**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an IT Technician and Technical Support professional to join our team in Australia. This person will be responsible for managing the company's technological infrastructure, including the installation and maintenance of computers, secure data wiping, and other IT management tasks. Additionally, they will provide technical support to our clinicians and patients to ensure they can use our digital services with ease.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Installation and configuration of computer equipment**: Setting up new devices, installing operating systems and necessary software.
- ** Maintenance and updating of IT infrastructure**: Ensuring all systems are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- ** Secure data wiping**: Ensuring data security by correctly following company protocols for data elimination.
- ** Technical issue management**: Diagnosing and resolving technical problems that may arise both internally and with our patients.
- ** Task documentation and tracking**: Maintaining detailed records of all incidents and the solutions applied.
- ** Collaboration with other departments**: Working in coordination with other teams to ensure the best possible experience for our patients and clinicians.
**Requirements**:
- ** Previous IT experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- ** Technical knowledge**: Familiarity with operating system installation, network management, secure data wiping, and other IT maintenance tasks.
- ** Technical support skills**: Experience in providing technical support to end users, preferably in a healthcare or XR technology environment.
- ** Good communication skills**: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
- ** Customer-oriented**: Ability to understand and solve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
- ** Autonomy and proactivity**: Ability to work independently, managing time and tasks efficiently.
- ** Availability**: Willingness to respond to technical emergencies outside of working hours if necessary.
- Must reside in Australia
- Hold Permanent residency (PR) or the right to work in Australia without requiring employer sponsorship.
