**The organisation**
This role requires someone who wishes to join a flourishing team of passionate, experienced, and proud professionals who represent a strongly growing luxury skincare brand here in Australia.
Your role as a Marketing Manager will place emphasis on building and executing a brand strategy to meet consumer expectations and drive commercial opportunities
Constructing content and marketing activation plans for retailers & pure players is important to influence and gain synergies between brand digital activities, content strategy and retailer strategies.
You must ensure consumer trends, insights, path to purchase and behaviours (online and offline) are integrated into decision making. You will monitor the state of market, consumers and competitors by reviewing business market information on mergers, acquisitions, launches, trends and through regular e-store visits and assessments. Tracking trends and acting on insights to optimise retail SEO and brand SEM.
Collecting, analysing and interpreting information derived from all data sources to generate insights, track ROI and make constructive strategic decisions and recommendations to management. It's the perfect opportunity to make an impact in a business-critical role.
**The role**
- Lead marketing strategy across marketing channels, including but not limited to digital marketing, brand management and ATL / BTL marketing, alongside e-commerce platforms.
- Work in shared management & develop the marketing plan and budget, continuously iterate throughout the year without compromising on marketing or business objectives.
- Maintain great working relationships with global and local counterparts.
- Define and deliver the Brand strategy.
- Brand and Portfolio Planning - development & implementation of communication, media, digital, promotional, trade events, ambassadors and sponsorship activities
- Scope and manage NPD and go to market strategy, from concept to delivery and evaluation.
- Plan and deliver campaigns across all channels, including digital and AT
- End to end product lifecycle management.
- Provide leadership, development, inspiration and motivation to the team and agencies.
- Responsible for strategic direction of skincare marketing direction including campaign delivery to drive brand engagement and meet sales forecast from planning, pre and post production to delivery.
- Ensuring the team and key stakeholders have a thorough understanding of the skincare branding guidelines as well as the DNA of the client, and how these work together in campaigns and across owned channels.
- Responsible for working with insights and loyalty team, creative agency to deliver consumer and brand data and insights once per season to support creation and shaping of marketing plan. Supported by on-going performance analysis and regular reviews
**What you can offer**
- Proven background in beauty, skincare, pharmaceutical or FMCG experience is highly desirable.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
- Commercial experience and acumen - responsible for the P&L of a brand and achieving bottom line objectives.
- Go to market strategy and Campaign Management.
- Strong NPD (stage gate process) experience.
- Demonstrated experience in luxury retail, wholesale or franchise would be advantageous.
- Exceptional communication & organisational skills.
- A proven track record of developing meaningful relationships / networks within the media and relevant industry space.
- Team player who understands the importance of working with rather than above the team.
- 5+years' in a similar role (skincare and/or retail category experience preferred).
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and stakeholders comfortably.
- Demonstrates agility and flexibility with a strong collaborative approach, builds trust easily and quickly.
- Strong commercial outlook and ability to drive growth through marketing.
- Strategic thinker who can adapt in an ever-changing retail environment.
