**The opportunity**
The Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated Resident Wellbeing Assistants to join our team at Mount Martha Valley Residential Aged Care Facility in Safety Beach on a casual basis.
As a Resident Wellbeing Assistant at Royal Freemasons, you will be valued as part of a self-motivated team who are passionate about fostering a positive culture and team approach to contributing to the well-being of all residents.
The role will support the implementation and evaluation of all activity’s programs and review and complete consumer assessments. The Resident Wellbeing Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Lifestyle Coordinator and works closely with Volunteers, Therapy and Care Staff to assist with person-centered holistic care.
We have a variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle and the flexibility of casual work across a 14-day roster. Let us know your availability that works with your lifestyle.

**Requirements for the role**
- Relevant qualifications in Leisure and Lifestyle or Aged Care.
- At least 1 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with dementia care, with knowledge of memory support programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families.
- A compassionate approach to managing and supporting elderly residents and individuals with disabilities.
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate to computer skills
**Other requirements**
A current, full driver’s licence for the State of Victoria which is appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven, and comply with any restrictions on their licence (e.g. wearing glasses)
It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.
All aged care workers are encouraged to receive Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and Flu-Vaccine. All successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
