About the Role
As an Operational Resilience Reporting Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping to generate reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide critical insights that support compliance with internal policies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements. You will ensure that risk is effectively identified, monitored, and managed across Suncorp Bank, particularly in relation to CPS 230 Operational Resilience obligations. By delivering clear, actionable data, the Operational Resilience Reporting Analyst will play a key role in strengthening risk culture, driving awareness, and enhancing governance processes to ensure proper risk assurance.
Additionally, the Operational Resilience Reporting Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement reporting solutions that align with Suncorp Bank’s risk management frameworks. Their work supports strategic decision-making while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational resilience. Through continuous improvement, proactive risk management, and strong governance, this role contributes to maintaining Suncorp Bank’s long-term stability and commitment to sound risk practices.

What will your day look like?
**As an Operational Resilience Reporting Analyst, you will**:
Analyse data to provide value add and data driven insights to improve management of operational risks, obligations, and compliance risks for the Bank.
Challenge and simplify existing reporting solution and governance practices, including implementing automated solutions where possible to reduce cost and ensure an improved customer and stakeholder experience.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in reporting and provide high quality information in a timely manner.
Play a key role in driving cultural change and increased awareness of risk management through successful interaction and exceptional relationship management with all stakeholders.
Promote an environment that encourages employee’s wellbeing and a safe working environment whilst driving your own engagement and wellbeing.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Demonstrated experience in risk, governance, strategy, or finance related roles.
Extensive knowledge of Suncorp Bank and exposure to Suncorp Bank Strategic Leaders.
Risk Management experience, including the implementation and delivery of core frameworks and standards to ensure compliance, governance, and effective risk mitigation strategies.
High attention to detail and organisational planning skills with focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
Highly analytical with strong capability to use information to identify key issues, compare data, understand trends, and draw insights.
Advanced data visualization skills with the ability to analyse and convey complicated data sets in easy-to-understand graphs, flow charts and/or images to drive insights.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently.
Proficient technical skills in Microsoft suite, SharePoint and dashboard management.
Strategic planning and critical thinking capability to facilitate the development of innovative solutions to complex business problems.
