Fashion - Online Sales and Production Assistant

**The opportunity**

As the online sales and production assistant you will be responsible for managing our online sales and supporting our fashion production while developing your knowledge and skills in the fashion industry and digital marketing.

Based at our Surry Hills Head Office, you will work closely with the Design Director and Production Manager in a creative fast-paced environment with a small, enthusiastic team.

This is an ideal position for a Fashion Graduate or someone with experience in online customer service who would like to develop their skills supporting a high quality Australian designer fashion label.

Your starting salary will be based on your experience and skills and will include a generous clothing allowance from our latest collections.

**Who are we?**

We have stores in Sydney and Melbourne, national distribution through David Jones and selected boutiques in Australia and New Zealand, as well as a rapidly growing global online customer base and strong social media following.

**Your responsibilities**

You will be supporting us across two important functions:

- You will help us manage the growth of our online sales with excellent customer service, providing our customers with excellent customer service and efficient management of our product inventory and despatch.
- You will help us manage our garment production efficiently to ensure we meet production deadlines with the highest levels of quality control and stock management.

Your specific duties will include:

- Becoming highly familiar with our extensive range of styles to ensure accurate product selection and despatch.
- Assisting with daily online sales to ensure our online customers receive their orders the next day perfectly packed and accurately despatched.
- Assisting our Australian boutiques with efficient and timely supply of new and replacement retail stock.
- Working with the production team with administrative support to efficiently deal with our production schedule, fabric and accessory suppliers, cutting room and manufacturers.
- Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure accurate availability of garments to our customers across our online, wholesale customers retail sales.
- Assisting in our Sydney retail boutique, working with the sales manager to as a sales consultant when required
- Providing administrative support across the business as required.

**Your skills and experience**

To be successful in the position, you will:

- Have a genuine desire to work in Australian women’s designer fashion.
- Have the attention to detail and speed required to accurately match stock to orders, pack and prepare orders, and despatch by each day’s deadline.
- Have an aptitude for working with fashion production processes and inventory management.
- Be flexible and able to manage unexpected demands that might arise.
- Enjoy working as part of a small, committed team and be able to work collaboratively with others in a fun (but sometimes high-pressure and unpredictable) environment.
- Preferably have qualifications and experience in: fashion, retail, and/or online customer service and sales.
- Have experience with the tools and platforms that are part of a modern online business, including online management programs like Shopify.
- Be competent with data-management programs like Microsoft Excel.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
