Job Title: Venue Duty Manager at Coolum Surf Club

**Responsibilities**:
Oversee the daily operations of the club, ensuring that all areas of the venue are running smoothly and efficiently.

Manage and lead a team of staff members, including Food & Beverage staff, reception staff, kitchen staff and the function team. Ensuring that they are meeting performance standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring that stock levels are well maintained.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation, including Liquor Licensing, health and safety standards and many more.

Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to promote Coolum Surf Club as a premier venue for dining, functions and entertainment.

**Requirements**:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in venue management, preferably in a hospitality or club setting

Current RMLV, RSG, RSA, CLO and Current 1st Aid/CPR (or ability to obtain).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation, including liquor licensing as well as health and safety standards.

A passion for delivering high-quality customer service and passing on those skills.

Availability to work a rotating flexible roster, including weekends, public holidays and evenings.
