**The Company**

Grand Additions is a residential Brisbane-based building company, specialising in entire home renovations and complex renovation projects.

**The Role**

We are looking for a carpentry apprentice that can work as a team and fit into our company culture, which is having a positive attitude, supporting their colleagues and a strong work ethic to succeed in the construction industry. Grand Additions has a very low staff turnover and treats all staff as long-term team members. We have a decent amount of workload for the upcoming future.

**Preferred requirements**
- 1st/2nd/3rd/4th year
- Basic understanding of site safety
- Australian Driver’s License and own transport
- Construction White Card

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in the role it is preferred that you have the following skills and experience:

- Reliable, hardworking and well mannered.
- Able to take instructions with the ability to problem solve and pay attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with project managers, other employees and the public.
- Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and efficiently without constant supervision.
- Understanding of basic construction methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

We are looking for someone to start ASAP

**Salary**: $21.00 - $46.71 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:
