We require an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who seeks a career in a privately owned manufacturing business. Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, you will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment, have a pro-active, can-do attitude and a passion for Human Resources and what it can bring to the organisation.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Provides HR support, advice and guidance to managers on HR/IR issues
- Maintains compliance with federal and state employment legislation, regulations and recommended best practice
- End to end Recruitment from advertising through to employee onboarding
- Work closely with apprentices, ensuring alignment to apprenticeship program and ongoing support
- Performance Management including investigations and advice
- Work closely with HRM on creating/revising of policies and procedures
- Training and development including the revision/development and implementation of internal training programs
- Employee lifecycle administration

***To be successful you will have**:

- Minimum 2 years on the job experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related fields
- Strong communication skills including interpersonal, planning and problem-solving abilities
- Experience interpreting employment legislation including modern awards and Fair Work
- Previous experience in high volume recruitment
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organisation skills

Although not essential a background within human resources in a manufacturing would be highly regarded.
