**Your new company**
This client has a strong presence within the American Sporting and Apparel brands throughout Australia and New Zealand. They strive to optimize every brand they represent with the vision to bring unite them both globally and locally in all different forms from stadiums to streetwear, by creating products that allow every fan to wear them uniquely.

**Your new role**
They are looking for a Purchasing Manager to oversee all the brands purchasing requirements and coordinate the movements through an end-to-end process. You will be reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, and will be responsible for placing orders, consolidating sales volumes, communicating changes from factories and providing reports to the relevant departments including season wrap ups as well as managing the workload, growth and development of the Purchasing Officer.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Ensure all buy and sell purchase orders are handed off or entered into their correct portals
- Work with the Production & Development department on purchase order developments and consolidating orders
- Identify opportunities to absorb current or future stock against future purchases
- Maintain accurate system integrity and coordinate the input of data that is provided from all departments
- Ensure you are up to date with all compliance requirements and provide these to the brands at the time of purchase order hand off
- Provide purchases to the brands with clear instructions on delivery expectations and required movement of stock dates and ensure 3PL’s have information required to ensure volume and priority planning is executed
- Provide guidance to suppliers on consolidation opportunities that promote efficiencies
- Drive timely and efficient delivery of product to allow the business to ship inventory to customers per agreed timelines
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Document and update customers on improved department efficiencies and new tools to better service their business

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven 3+ years’ experience in a similar role and industry
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using Apparel 21 (desired)
- American and Domestic sports knowledge (desired)
