- As the Head of Western Australia and EMEA, you will be at the forefront of driving CR's mission to deliver market-leading mining products, services, and solutions across these key regions. This executive role is critical in shaping the future of our business by strategically leading the West Australia and EMEA teams, ensuring we capture significant market share and achieve superior EBITDA outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to influence and implement CR’s business strategy, working across open-cut, underground, and digital product categories. Your leadership will foster collaboration, enhance our brand reputation, build strategic relationships, and uncover new market opportunities, all while optimizing our cost-to-serve model to deliver exceptional results.- This role is a significant leadership role and is expected to strongly contribute to the development and implementation of Business Strategy for the Company. The role will actively lead, assign, and review the key priorities of the West Australia and EMEA team with the opportunity to significantly grow CR’s market share across all open-cut and underground product categories including our Digital Solutions. Encourage broad consultation and collaboration across the business to enhance our external brand, build strategic business relationships, source compelling market opportunities, and optimise our quality and cost to serve model.**Key Activities**
- To grow the capability and performance of the Business Development and Site Account Managers within West Australasia and EMEA to meet (and exceed) the budget sales targets. This area of accountability includes a focus on developing a strong pipeline of sales opportunities to target share growth potential.
- Lead the key growth regions of Africa and Europe given the compelling opportunities leveraging the broader Epiroc Business
- Lead and maximise the performance of the Product Lines: GET, Underground Digital Sales
- Be a role model and provide high-quality coaching of Leaders to improve their leadership capability and team effectiveness. This must be demonstrated and tied to business strategy, our mission, vision, and company values.
- Effective implementation of the core business management systems: ISO18001, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO27001. This is essential in providing safe workplaces, aiming for ZERO Harm, and ensuring the provision of safe quality products to our customers.
- Provide active support for the implementation of Epiroc’s Code of Conduct, DOA and Company Policies.
- Provide open and transparent communication to all employees on the performance of the business with a clear focus on two-way information to help enhance speed of decision, support and organisational effectiveness.
- Management and setting of budgets and business plans including the implementation of investment proposals.
- Implementation of the key strategic initiatives to build new capability to increase Underground sales with Epiroc Customer Centres, Africa Sales Growth and delivery of significant organic growth in West Australia and Europe across all product lines
- Create a culture of learning to help embed a culture of continuous improvement through customer and market feedback, value selling philosophies, being externally focussed and open to new ideas and LEAN thinking.
