The role of Risk and Insurance Officer is responsible for the end-to-end management of insurance claims across all lines of insurance for Goodstart Early Learning. This role will assist in conducting the annual renewal of the insurance portfolio and will support the Risk Manager in implementing the Risk Management Framework.

**Your Impact**:
Provide advice and support to all stakeholders on the end-to-end insurance claims process across all lines of insurance.
Manage correspondence between Goodstart Early Learning and our insurance broker in relation to general insurance claims.
Identify and escalate medium to high-risk insurance claims to the Risk Manager.
Reconcile insurance funds as directed by the Finance Team.
Maintain insurance certificates in a central repository and an up-to-date Insurance Guide to assist team members.
Liaise with insurance brokers to gather required information to facilitate a comprehensive renewal process.
Work within the team, provide support and undertake ad hoc tasks as required.
Assist the Risk Manager in implementing the Risk Management Framework.

**You’ll bring to the table**:
Have previous experience managing insurance claims in a large organisation.
Ideally hold a Cert III in Financial Services - Insurance / or Business Administration qualification.
Demonstrated understanding of the Childcare business, services, structure, direction and responsibilities to various stakeholders, is an advantage.
