We are currently working with a State Government body. They are looking for a Contracts Advisor on a 5-month contract with possible extension.

About the role:
The Contracts Advisor provides expert support and advice on the establishment and maintenance of

contracts for the division. This position provides experience and knowledge to ensure contractual issues, spend, and risks are managed.

Is this role suited to you? Do you have previous experience in contracts or CA roles? If not, do you come from a finance background with demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and contracts.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Work with the Group Procurement team and contract administrators to manage contract administration, compliance and reporting, including contract milestone setup, extending contracts, updating pricing catalogues, maintaining safety/insurance documentation and entering variations.
- Sourcing activities up to 250k value.
- Management of low risk/value agreements.
- Engage with stakeholders to lead and drive process improvement within key contracts.
- Monitor contract spend across key contracts to ensure compliance is maintained and that any potential budgetary issued are identified and addressed in a proactive manner.
- Research and analyse information and data to inform and assist in decisions regarding purchasing and supplier management

About you:

- Detailed knowledge of procurement, contract lifecycles and the procurement processes.
- Experience in managing contracts within an ERP system
- Experience in managing financial data and managing contract spend.
