**Your new role**

As the Risk & Compliance Advisor you will work in a small high performing collaborative team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, as well as for implementing and maintaining the company's risk management framework. This role requires a deep understanding of the risks facing the organisation, as well as the ability to support the business to develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the risk management framework.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks to the company.
- Develop and maintain the company's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Lead the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies to minimise the impact of identified risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all risk and compliance-related enquiries from internal stakeholders, including management and employees.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators, to ensure the company's risk management and compliance programs are effective and up to date.
- Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations and ensure that the company's risk management framework is updated accordingly.
- Train employees on relevant risk management and compliance policies and procedures.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, law, or finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management and compliance
- Strong understanding of relevant frameworks, laws, regulations, and standards.
- Understanding of the Australian legal and regulatory environment
