**THE ROLE**

- Someone who enjoys sourcing and synthesising relevant research evidence, practitioner expertise and client voice to support evidence-informed implementation and practice?

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as part of a team in a branch improving outcomes for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The Principal Project Officer, Evaluation and Systems Improvement Team will model and promote the translation of systems thinking, evidence and insights into homelessness reform and service design proposals. They will lead new and ongoing evaluation projects and contribute to systems change through outcomes focused monitoring and evaluation of new and existing service models.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Lead the design and delivery of program evaluations including Homelessness to Home and Homelessness Families to a Home.
- Draw lessons from systems research and evaluation studies, and their implications for improving the homelessness service system.
- Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
(a) Leading research, analysis and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.

(b) Managing and overseeing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.

(c) Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
