THE ROLE
The purpose of the role of Principal Project Officer is to lead key projects related to reform of the Children and Families service system and, more specifically, the Child Protection program. The Principal Project Officer will also engage with relevant stakeholders in the co-design of new ways of working.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
*
- Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Pro-actively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
- Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.
