What your day will look like....
As a Purchasing Officer, you'll work within a small team, managing various aspects of the purchasing process to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You'll oversee inventory management, invoice reconciliation, and back-order reports, keeping everything running smoothly. Collaboration is key, as you'll build relationships with clients and supply coordinators to understand their needs and provide support. Your role also includes responding to customer, vendor, and accounts payable inquiries, where you'll use your problem-solving skills to resolve issues. You'll regularly review purchasing procedures to ensure compliance with modern practices, making adjustments when necessary. Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to a high-functioning team, while continuously improving operational processes.
