The Department
The Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (DRDMW) drives growth for Queensland by managing sustainable water resources, leading innovation in manufacturing, and developing our regions. From our offices in Brisbane and a network of regional offices and manufacturing hubs, more than 700 DRDMW staff work to create a Queensland where communities, businesses and water resources are sustainable and resilient.
The Role
- Operate independently and as part of a high functioning team to meet the objectives outlined in the department's strategic plan and business plans.
- Maintain personal integrity and transparency with others.
- Provide project support by assisting with the maintenance of client and contract record-keeping and databases and corporate functions such as asset management, mailing, and purchasing activities.
About You
- There are no mandatory requirements for this role however, a 'C' class drivers' licence would be highly regarded.
- Skills in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook and Excel is highly desirable.
- Travel away from the centre may be required. This may involve travel outside of normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation for extended periods.
